I was an intern for a Human Resource Internship at Speedway last year and everyday we scheduled and meet many new prospect for the job. So how do you increase your chance of landing on a new job when you are competing among many others interviewee who have equal or more experience and better academic than you?

According to the book, an interviewee have to keep in mind that there are only five questions the interviewer is concerned about.

1. Why are you here? (How much do you know about our organization?)

2. What can you do for us? (What are the skills that you can turn into an assets for the organization?)

3. What kind of person are you? (Do you have what it takes to get the job done and beyond that)

4. What distinguishes you from, say, nineteen other people whom we are interviewing for this job?

(What can you bring to the company that can makes us better)

5. Can we afford you? (If we decided to give you the job. Are you willing to give your all with what our budget can afford?

Know and prepare to your answer to these 5 questions will help you understand better about what the other person want and how you can meet their needs.
