Week 11 - What Color is Your Parachute - What to Do When You Have no Idea What Business You Want to Go Into
According to the book, the five keys that you need to have to unlock your dreams are:
1. Read chapter 8 of the book to get a bigger picture of what you need to do. On the other hand, develop more clarity about who you are, who you want to be, and what do you like to build. You cannot reach a destination if you don't know where you want to go.
2. Get out a piece of paper (not tablets) and just write down as any ideas that you can think of. Then listen to your intuition and choose among the things that are most important to you.
3. Then write your resume. If you need a head. Use chapter 2 of the book to help you polish your resume. Either you want to work for yourself or others. You have to understand about what can you do and what you cannot yet do.
4. If nothing work. Then try this. Make a list of five things you are good at. Then make a second list of the five activities that you love to do. Then make a third list of where the first two lists overlap. In the end. Read the list and ask yourself "Will anyone pay me to do these things?"
5. If you are tire of working for others and dying to become your own boss. Then check this out: go to O*Net (www.onetonline.org).
