1. Your appearance and personal habits - The way how you take care of yourself and what you do can tell a lot about you as a person. If you show up on an interview with messy hair and wrinkle clothes like you was just roll out of bed. Then it just show that you are a clumsy and disorganize person. Looking nice and fresh is not only dress for appearance. But people dress for respect. We dress nicely because we take the situation seriously. The way how you dress can show your respect to other people. So dress nicely!
2. Nervous mannerisms - the number one thing that turn employers off is avoiding eye contact and nervous when talking. Employers are more than likely not want to hire somebody who is not confident in the tasks that they are given.
3. Lack of self-confidence. Similar to the last tip. Be confident! Many people believe that confident can only be gain after you had accomplish major goals in your life. But it doesn't have to. Confident is nothing but a belief that you can figure things out.
4. The consideration you show to other people - If the only things that you are consider in the interview is how much you are getting pay for or what are the benefits that the company that you are looking to work for is going to provide for you. Then you are aiming at the wrong things. Employers does not look for employees who just want to take something from the company. They want people who can serve the company. Give first, receive second.
